POSITION: Upholstery - Chair Line

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Builds full inside on upholstered frame of chair.

Essential Functions:

Read and interpret production ticket
Knowledge of furniture terms and how they apply: flow match spots, center lines, carry throughs, 4 way line ups; adheres to lineup and flow match guidelines
Seats: sew seat to frame, making cuts, applying cotton, applying border
Arms: apply foam and cotton to areas on frames arms, make proper cuts and apply fabric to arms, apply borders as needed, band different kinds of arms (sock, track, panel border arm)
Backs: apply fabric to back aligning stripes, keeping grain of fabric straight
